Component Testing

With our in-house load testing facility, Clear Structures puts components and assemblies to the test and uses the results to create bespoke assembly solutions. For even the most unusual architectural detailing requirements, our team of experts are able to ensure peace of mind by thorough testing of any bespoke component.

Our equipment is also used for testing glass panels to determine destruction levels and confirm the failure mechanism. 

We have also carried out soft body impact testing of glass walls and roof panels and ballistic testing of toughened glass.

Working with the Building Research Establishment we have carried out fire testing of glass floors.

To ensure maximum convenience for our clients, we can transport equipment to individual sites and client facilities for insitu testing, such as the proof loading of balustrades.
