Clear Structures advised client Solaglas on the structural design of the new £6M, 32m long and 5m wide glass footbridge at Stratford International Station.
Nineteen floor to ceiling double glazed panels were fitted along each side of the bridge prior to lifting to form curtain walls. Each panel is 4.2m high and weighs around 400kg. In total, the project contains some 1,300m2 of glass.
