As part of the development of Manchester Free Trade Hall, Clear Structures was responsible for the structural design of a three-storey high glass atrium connecting the original building to a new fifteen-storey tower. One of the main features of the design involved the accommodation of lateral movement between the two buildings without detriment to the clear lines of the glazed atrium.
