Prospects College

Prospects College is a leading provider of vocational training in the South Essex and Thames Gateway with courses covering engineering and construction provided at their skills training centres located in Southend, Basildon and Brentwood.

Clear Structures are providing the Structural Engineering services for the development of their new training centre in Basildon. The project includes the reuse of an existing twin spanned portal frame building incorporated into the new structure providing construction activity space, classrooms, restaurants and administration. Included in the scheme are numerous alternative energy generating and saving system which reduce the running cost of the building but also provide a unique teaching resource for the construction students. The building is being constructed with the target of BREEAM Excellent.
